 I'm a 5th &amp; 6th grade math teacher in North Canaan, CT. I'm an educational leadership grad student at CCSU, a cat mom, an aspiring principal, a wannabe chef, and an organizational freak. That's my boyfriend Jake. He's a lawyer. 
 
This wiki is dedicated to fifth grade math lessons. The major units I cover in fifth grade are- 
1. Multiplying &amp; Dividing large whole numbers 
2. Adding, subtracting, multiplying &amp; dividing fractions and decimals 
3. Volume 
4. Classifying polygons by attributes 
 
I will be finding resources to assist me in re-writing my curriculum for the 2015-2016 school year, since I have been allowed to discontinue the use of the Pearson &quot;Investigations&quot; curriculum, as it didn't fit the needs of my classroom.
